Walgreens is rolling out a new card program and we can sign up now online, via smart phone or in the store. Starting September 16th, we will be able to earn points for purchasing certain items in the weekly ad. We will be able to check our point balance at the store, on our phones or online.
We will earn 500 points for most prescriptions filled at Walgreens, as well as 10 points for every mile you walk through Walk With Walgreens. I just signed up online, and I will be able to use my phone number at checkout so I don’t have to keep track of a card. Sounds good to me! Watch for the new points to show up in the ad starting 9/16/12.
The points will not expire for three years as long as you make a purchase at Walgreens at least once every six months. Easy peasy!
